Description
Journalist Fenna Wildspieker’s memories of the countryside where she grew up are of a narrow-minded farming community. “I didn’t leave, I fled!” she says. However everything changes for Fenna when, following her divorce she is forced to look for a new home for her and her daughter. Suddenly, she is back in the place where she was born. Through this renewed contact with her roots, Fenna rediscovers the area – and herself. This series is shot entirely on location, in one of the most beautiful areas of East Netherlands.
