The year is 1956 and Gina Dawson is the first police woman ever to serve in her home town. It’s tough being the only woman in an all-male precinct, but then again, so is Gina. One can be forgiven for underestimating Gina Dawson. With her petite stature, pretty face and affable nature, Gina sometimes comes across as a wide eyed innocent, but scratch the surface and she is as smart as a whip, has an instinctive feel for understanding human nature and is not beyond using her sexuality to gain the upper hand. Gina may be wet behind the ears, but she’s willing to learn and has what it takes to be an exceptional cop just as long as the men give her a chance.
