Love, Lust or Run is a new make-under show for TLC, starring style guru Stacy London. In every episode women with major fashion issues come to Stacy for help turning their over-the-top look from disaster to “damn girl!” Stacy shows them the impact their style choices are making by asking random strangers to rate them as “Love”, “Lust”, or “Run”. Then they take off their extensions, remove their extreme outfits, and strip off their makeup so she can start from scratch with a blank slate.
Stacy guides the women through a transformative make-under changing their look, and just maybe their lives.Some of the highlights include 29-year-old Tanika who tries to cover up her self-esteem issues by flaunting her body in mesh tops and thigh-high boots. Her look gets plenty of attention but instead of inspiring catcalls on the street Tanika wants to learn to dress like a mom and make her nine-year-old daughter proud.
Serena at 33 years old is a devoted mother of three, who spends all her time caring for her young children. An artist at heart, her only creative outlet comes when she hits her closet! But with dreadlocks, cartoonish outfits and over the-top make-up, the message she sends to the world is RUN!
Deanna is a New York City girl who’s fallen in love with the “Jersey” look; her style icon is Victoria Gotti! Everything about her is larger than life; her hair, her make-up and of course her heels! But at 31 years old she’s starting a business and needs Stacy’s help to tone down her look so people will take her seriously.
Ellie is a 23-year-old from Pennsylvania with bright green hair, five-inch platform boots and she’s covered in spikes. Her dark, scary style started as schoolgirl rebellion but became a way of life. Now she’s stuck dressing like a villain in a horror movie and needs help finding a style for the next phase of her life.
