In each episode, a family who lives in an unsuitable and impractical home will be presented with two radically different designs by two extraordinary architects.

The couple must decide which they’ll build in reality before the most extraordinary final reveal. Will the winning design solve the problems in their home and improve their lives?

  • Season 3 premiere is its highest overnight audience ever and was above the previous series launch market share by +51% for Adults 16-34.
  • Across the six episodes of Series 3, it has achieved an average consolidated audience of 1.80 million viewers and a 10.1% market share (above BBC2’s primetime average market share by +54%).
  • Comparing with the previous series 2, series 3 is above the Series 2 market share by +4% for All Individuals and this is its highest series average market share.
  • BBC2’s No.1 show of the day, the premiere of Season 3 achieved an average overnight audience of 2.06 million viewers and a 12.33% market share (above BBC2’s slot average market share by +9%)
  • BBC Two (UK) - season 2 smashed the average share across all demographics: Adults 16-34 (+112%), Adults 35-54 (+90%), ABC1 Adults (+62%) and Housewives (+40%)
  • Season 1 delivered an average audience of 1.6m viewers, +17% up on the primetime average
