Acclaimed British film actor John Hurt (Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone) returns to the small screen for the first time in years in the psychological thriller Bait. He stars alongside Sheila Hancock (The Russian Bride, Eastenders, Close Relations) and Rachael Stirling (Another Life, Maybe Baby). BAIT is the story of Jack Blake (Hurt) who is convinced his beloved missing daughter, Anne, is dead. When he rescues Pam (Hancock) and her daughter Stephanie (Stirling) from their car one rainy night, he is struck by the uncanny likeness between Stephanie and his daughter and invites the women home. The pair are unaware they will become pawns in a dangerous plan to lure his daughter's killer from the shadows. In a series of brilliantly crafted twists the killer is finally unmasked in a startling denoucement.
