Description
Walking and Talking is national treasure Kathy Burke's autobiographical comedy series. Set in 1978 when Kathy was a fourteen year old girl, the series follows Kathy and her best mate Mary as they take various walks around their old stomping ground, Islington. On Kathy and Mary's journeys they get to chat about the all important issues for teenage girls: boys, music, food and what they'll do when school is finally over. We get to join them as they meet local characters and bunk off school to take a trip in an ice cream van. It is a charming and incredibly funny series that also features two hilarious smoking nuns (with an incredible cameo from Kathy as the angriest nun ever on British television).
