Commissioned by Channel 5 (UK), the broadcaster has hired two of South Africa’s finest legal minds to explore the key questions on which the trial will turn. In a specially built set of the scene of the crime and through forensic tests, our lawyers ask whether there was an argument between the couple that might have led to murder. Witness statements say that they heard arguing coming from his house immediately before the shooting – and the prosecution need to show he had a motive for murder.
