Description
New Zealand version of international hit The Block, sees four couples - siblings, spouses, best friends - compete to renovate four run-down houses in an upmarket suburb. Room by room, week by week, they'll fix up the entire house to sell at auction for the highest price - and they have to take leave from their jobs and lives and live in the houses while they do it. That means no kitchen, no bathroom, not even a clean place to sleep, until that room is renovated. From more than 1000 applicants, the final four couples were picked, taken out of their comfort zones, and dropped into a frantic ten-week contest to renovate dilapidated houses in the seaside suburb of Takapuna, on Auckland’s North Shore.
