Whether it’s the bleary-eyed morning school run, a nervous trip to get exam results, a festival first or an eagerly anticipated prom night, the Teen Taxi is on call 24/7. In our hectic world where tablets and phones put a block on banter, time spent in the car remains one of the last refuges of unfiltered child-to-parent conversation – a place where laughs can be had and tricky conversations raised!
Now, in this brand new series, teens and their families are letting cameras into their cars for the first time - as they tackle school, relationships, sibling rivalry, friendships, and so much more. Every episode will be loosely themed – taking on modern day topics such as social media, ambitions for the future and intimate and often unwanted advice about dating.
As we get to know our characters, we’ll come to understand their personalities, relationships, hopes and fears and the connections between their individual conversations showing that whatever their locality or background, teenagers and their parents have many things in common.
