MasterChef Junior is an inspirational and fun programme that gives young foodies, aged between 9 to 13 years old, the chance to showcase their culinary abilities and passion for food.
MasterChef Junior sees young super-cooks face challenges ranging from the technical to the spectacular, proving that when it comes to great cooking, age doesn’t matter.
The competition begins with the top junior cooks from across the country. Over the course of the competition, the contestants are whittled down until the best young amateur chefs compete in the grand finale – leaving only one to take the crown of MasterChef Junior.

Nine junior contestants cook up culinary masterpieces to celebrate all holidays including Christmas, Lunar New Year, Kwanzaa, Hannukah and more. Judges Gordon Ramsay, Tilly Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez and Daphne Oz will crown a winner, who takes home a $25,000 grand prize and a Viking Kitchen package. And this holiday season, each junior chef will leave with a kitchen-related prize, including a Viking Kitchen package for the runner-up. There are several holiday surprises, including a Santa-dressed Gordon Ramsay delighting the children.
