Singaporeans showed unprecedented support for the MasterChef contestants as they chased their foods dreams.
Now some of the contestants have a chance to give back by helping some of the country’s most disadvantage citizens and supporting the President’s Star Charity.
Many people from poor backgrounds or with physical or mental disabilities find it difficult to get a job interview, let alone secure ongoing employment. But cooking can offer them a future. So, four of MasterChef Singapore’s favourite contestants are each taking on a needy protégé chosen from charities supported by the President’s Star Charity.
The contestants will share with them their love of food, provide cooking tips, and inspire them to cook for a living.
