Ever stared at your neighbour’s home and dreamed of how different it would look if you were allowed to strip, rip and paint as you pleased? Changing Rooms, the ratings juggernaut credited with kicking off the worldwide DIY craze, allows two sets of neighbours to do just that.
Two couples living close to each other swap house keys for 48 hours. Their task: to completely transform one room of their neighbour’s house. Both teams are given a set budget and the professional help of an interior designer.
With what kind of design will they surprise their neighbours? Will it all end in tears or squeals of delight?
