Murder, They Hope returns as hapless, inept private investigators Gemma (Sian Gibson) and Terry (Johnny Vegas) continue to stumble their way into bizarre and murderous situations.
The first series saw the couple successfully capture serial killer Willy Watkins (Lee Mack) and the couple were looking forward to their upcoming wedding. Gemma is adjusting to their newfound fame after the capture of Watkins and the only way she can stand out from the pack is to do what everyone else is doing and start a true crime podcast.
But Willy Watkins isn’t finished with them yet, and Terry has a secret past life that is going to become very public indeed.

- Performing well for younger viewers, S1 more than doubled the slot average market share for Adults 16-34 by +135%
