Denmark has a new official religious community. At the end of 2019, the Religious Society of Spiritism was approved by the Ministry of Church Affairs. DR2 has followed the founders, Christina and Jens, in the past year, where for the first time they have had to baptize, marry, and bury on an equal footing with other approved religions. The goal for the Spiritualists is to strengthen the connection to the team of spirits with whom they are in contact through the medium, Jens. And it is precisely the contact with the spirits' life after death that moves very close, as Christina tragically loses her father.
