Sidney Street for BBC One

In the year Queen Elizabeth marks her 70th on the throne, Fortnum & Mason has challenged home bakers to create a tart, cake, or pudding to honour her legacy. In a phenomenal response more than five thousand applied from across the country. Now the fun begins as this one-hour special follows what happens next.

Seven judges headed by Dame Mary Berry, with Pâtissier extraordinaire Roger Pizey, MasterChef guru Monica Galetti, cookbook phenomenon Jane Dunn, Great British Bake-Off winner Rahul Madul, influencer Matt Adlard & historian Regula Ysewijn, invite the final five bakers to London where over one extraordinary day they bake their cakes, tarts, and trifles – hoping it will be the winning recipe. Crowned as the Platinum Pudding, it is poised to go down in food history and thrill a nation of bakers ready to make it themselves.
