Description

Over the past two decades, MasterChef has brought some of the most exciting new food talent to screens, restaurants and cookbooks across the world.

In the newest iteration of the superbrand, MasterChef Young Talent offers young chefs aged 13 to 18 a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enter the iconic MasterChef kitchen, and to undergo a culinary apprenticeship like no other.

Over 10 episodes, and under the eyes of the expert judges, the 12 contestants get to showcase what they have to offer as the next generation of food talent.

Each week they have their culinary skills honed, with masterclasses and team challenges to develop technique, and individual challenges in which they get the chance to show what they have learned. The competition is tough, but these contestants embrace the experience with everything they’ve got, as the judges mentor and guide them throughout the challenges and eliminations.

At the end of the series, one young chef is crowned MasterChef Young Talent winner. MasterChef Young Talent is a celebration of the next generation of culinary talent, as they embark on their food dreams.
