Filmed over five years, this series will trace the enormous engineering challenges faced by what is the greatest public transport project in Australia’s history: a trailblazing, fully-automated metro system. 

Through the stories of our characters, the series will trace a multitude of engineering challenges to be confronted and overcome, including how to navigate a minefield of subterranean obstacles. 

Sydney has decided to bite the bullet. Traffic gridlock is now a constant problem in this city growing by 100,000 people a year. There is a desperate need and Sydney is responding. Mega Metro is the solution.
