Description

A Workerbee production

A gripping feature length true-crime story centring around the daughter of an Iranian family, who has spent over thirty years and millions of her fortune to try and find her mother’s killer.

In 1979 the Entezari family fled Iran during the political turmoil, making a home for themselves in the US. In 1989 the doting mother Effie Entezari was murdered outside her home.

Having separated a year earlier, husband and father Mike Entezari was a prime suspect and after what can only be described as a botched and biased investigation, he was charged with her murder.

For 30 years Mike and Effie’s daughter Pooneh has been working tirelessly to not only catch the real killer but also clear her father’s name. This is her story.
