Description
Fosca is a passionate and talented police commissioner in Arezzo, a beautiful and peaceful town in the Tuscan countryside. She is proudly and stubbornly single and lives a simple life in the countryside with her beloved helper, an older woman who manages the farm as well as her horse Sansone.
On duty, Fosca leads an all-female investigation team and uses her profound empathy and very sensitive and hyper-developed sense of smell to solve crimes. Their day-to-day work may not involve terrorism, the mafia or other big-time criminals but that doesn’t mean the cases aren’t gripping, often driven by emotion, feuds, and greed. Once the day is over, Fosca is known to indulge in a glass of Chianti with her best friend Cosimo, who she has known since childhood, and with whom, unexpectedly, something deeper than friendship is about to develop...
In season two, in addition to solving intricate cases with her team, Fosca faces new challenges in her relationship with Cosimo, and an unexpected comeback from her past.
