Description
Hosted by Olympic diver and knitting obsessive Tom Daley, Game of Wool: Britain’s Best Knitter is a brand-new competition format where amateur knitters battle it out in a series of epic challenges, all for the chance to be crowned Britain’s Best Knitter.
Set in an iconic Yarn Barn in the wilds of Scotland, the competition begins with ten talented knitters from across the country, each determined to prove they have what it takes to become the ultimate champion.
Each episode features a solo challenge designed to test creativity and technical skill, followed by a team challenge where collaboration is key on large-scale, ambitious projects.
Their work is judged by renowned Scottish knitwear designer Di Gilpin and her expert wing woman, Sheila Greenwell. Together, these rockstars of the knitting world scrutinise every stitch in the search for perfection.
At the end of each episode, one standout contestant is awarded the coveted Big Knitter sheep badge for exceptional work, while the lowest-performing knitter is Cast Off and must leave the competition.
