Journalist and broadcaster Adrian Chiles found God and converted to Catholicism at the age of 40. But Adrian wonders whether, if he had been born in another place or culture, he would have been just as happy as a Muslim or a Jew?

This two-part series sees Adrian journey around the Mediterranean in a quest to understand what the different Abrahamic faiths have in common. He travels through Israel, Turkey and Croatia, France and Spain – and is welcomed on his journey by rabbis, priests and imams as well as ordinary families.

At beautiful and fascinating religious sites in Istanbul, Jerusalem, Rome, Marseilles, Monserrat and Barcelona, he learns about the history and beliefs which divide us and which unite us… and in the end meets enough good people and inspiration to make him feel optimistic about the future.
