It’s summer 1951, the Löwander’s daughter Nina once had a passionate relationship with Calle the chef, but now they are both married. In the light summer nights, their love reawakens, but what price are they willing to pay to follow their hearts? Is it really true that love conquers all? Or does it actually destroy all?
