Description
Parents eagerly await the day their son or daughter walks down the aisle with the love of their life. But some families still stand in the way of the big day – especially when they disapprove of the suitor. It’s a problem as old as time. Yet most couples are still desperate for their parents’ approval.
The stakes are high in this dramatic social experiment, as every week a newly engaged couple brings their families together to try and change the way they feel about their partners. All of them agree to spend three days under the same roof. Couples receive the guidance of a relationship coach to help them navigate their issues and the reasons for their families’ objections. Ultimately though, responsibility for resolving the crisis rests with the fiancés. Will prejudices, misunderstandings and grudges stop the wedding? Or will the couples get family approval in the climactic blessing ceremony?
