Description
Forty-seven airmen begin SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape), the Air Force’s toughest survival programme in the military. In the first phase, they are broken up into nine-man ‘elements’ and sent out into the woods to learn the basics of survival: building fire, shelter, and signalling for help.
Along the way, they must thrive in adverse conditions: a scorching desert, a dense forest, and on a raft in the middle of the ocean. This gripping docu-soap ends with a triumphant graduation, where the airmen finally become ‘Masters of Survival’.
