Costa! is a bold, slick, character-driven drama exploring the loves, friendships, rivalries and sex lives of a group of youngsters working in the popular, sun-drenched Spanish coastal resort of Salou. This fast-paced series follows an eclectic ensemble of sexy young guys and girls living the dream of a virtually paid holiday – working as a team of ‘poppers’ for the happening nightclub, Costa, by night, whilst chilling, prancing and romancing in the sizzling sun by day. Armed with charm, sex appeal, and the promise of free tequila, their job is to lure the tourists from the beach into Costa… using any trick in the book!
A relentless, high-octane job, demanding skill, patience, and buckets of cunning, each ‘popper’ has their own tactics, method, and desire to be the best, but every night the Costa team must put aside the personal issues of the day and unite in a shared goal – snatching sweet victory from the hands of rival club, The Empire. As if working together wasn’t complicated enough, the Costa team share an apartment, giving rise to a barrage of conflicts, jealousies, pranks, and turbulent love affairs - amongst each other and the ‘cherry picked’ club guests. But despite the occasional falling out, they’re united by a need to make friends, have fun, and live life to the full. Juxtaposing laugh out loud moments with less frequent, but equally poignant ones, Costa! has an emotional heart. Each episode weaves together two stand-alone storylines of the guest characters with the serial arc of the wildly entertaining Costa team - a sexy, adventurous gang everyone wants to be a part of!
