Description
Exhausted is a self-contained, hour-long programme designed to test the contestants’ mental and physical skills, as well as their powers of endurance. Six contestants are pitted against each other through various exhilarating events after having been made to stay awake for more than 24 hours. They must survive four challenges and stay awake longer than their fellow competitors in order to win the jackpot, that is no little and no less than $1,000 for every hour the player has been awake. It seems easy, but even the simplest of games like ‘Simon says...’ can be the most difficult task when the only thing on your mind is sleep. Throughout the show, Exhausted’s ‘Jackpot Clock’ bumper provides a stylistic way to segue in and out of the action while keeping the viewers glued to the growing stakes. The final round features a special test for the last two players. They must sit in front of each other, on a very comfy couch. The winner is the last one ‘sitting’ - awake. It couldn’t be easier. If only… they… weren’t… so… Exhausted………
