Hidden in the Grid are thousands of pounds of cash prizes. Two contestants must find the cash while avoid going bankrupt. In the Grid is so simple you might make the mistake of thinking it’s easy.
The two contestants take it in turns to choose squares from a 4x4 grid of sixteen squares. They each start with £1000 but the hidden contents of each square will affect their cash: GOLD CASH squares give them more money; SILVER BONUS squares increase their total by a certain percentage; BLUE STEAL squares allow them to steal a percentage of their opponent’s cash; RED PENALTY squares decrease a contestant’s balance by a certain percentage; and the BLACK BANKRUPT squares instantly drain a contestant’s balance of all cash! But contestants do have one weapon in their armoury; two REVEAL CARDS. They won’t tell them what that square’s exact contents are, but at least they will know whether it’s good or bad. As soon as all-but-one of the squares have been uncovered the game is over. The player who has clung on to the most money is our winner and takes it through to thrilling final, The Mega-Grid!
