Description
Reality game show in which five couples from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth are given the opportunity to start and run their own restaurant from scratch. The couples must fit out their premises, hire staff, devise menus, and then launch and run their new business at a profit. TV viewers can book a table to eat and give their opinion. The winning couple will get to keep their restaurant as well as an additional cash prize; the rest will have to close their place down.
Each couple will be given a significant cash advance at the start of the series, but it won't be enough to get them to opening day. To get more money they'll need to undergo a gruelling performance review and convince 'The Bank' - a panel of four experts in the food game - that they deserve it.
