What if winning a fortune was as easy as putting one foot in front of the other? What if you just had to Step Up to win a million dollars?!
In each one-hour episode of this in-studio game show, our contestant starts at the bottom of our giant 11 row pyramid. The first row contains 11 squares and each consecutive row contains one less square. In each row, our contestant steps on as many or as few squares as they dare. If our contestant steps on a green square, they win cash. If our contestant steps on a red square, they could lose everything. If our contestant manages to step on 4 of the 7 hidden million dollar squares randomly dispersed throughout the pyramid, they win a million dollars!
In each row, the more green squares that our contestant uncovers, the better their chances are of stepping on 4 of the 7 million dollar squares to win one million, but their chances of stepping on a red square increase as well. The money our contestant could win by stepping on the green squares in each row increases as they move up the pyramid, and within each row, there is 1 bonus square worth big money. If our contestant steps on 3 red squares, they are out of the game completely.
