Description
This is not your typical Q&A game show with a buzzer. Because on Buzz Off, getting to the buzzer can be just as challenging as answering the question. At the top of the show, six contestants are given 25,000 Euros which they’ll use to play in four elimination rounds and a final. In each round, the host auctions the special buzzers. These buzzers could be two-meters high, in the shape of a see-saw, or require a sumo wrestler body suit to get to. The contestants make their bid and assign one of the buzzers to their strongest competitor. But with limited cash in hand, contestants have to be selective, which means not everyone is stuck with a special buzzer.
After the auction, it’s time for the questions. If someone buzzes in the correct answer, they move to the next round. The last contestant standing in each round is eliminated
and goes home empty handed.
After four rounds, the two finalists move on to a finale where they’re given only one crazy buzzer to bid from and one final question. How much of their remaining cash will each contestant be willing to gamble? That’s up to them, but they’ll need to be strategic and spend wisely because the first one to buzz in the correct answer wins the game and takes home whatever cash he has left.
