In Food Truck Wars, teams of two compete against others to win the opportunity to start their own food truck business. Competitors will need to prove their cooking skills but also possess the nature of true entrepreneurs to win the competition.
The contestants will come from all walks of life – brothers and sisters, young couples, pensioners, best friends, colleagues, professional or amateur cooks, and bring a number of different cuisines to the streets of the nation.

Each week, two teams battle it out assessed every day on different aspects of the business. The regional winner will then qualify to the national semi-finals before the competition will leave only six aspiring food truck managers in the finals.

The series will teach contestants how to overcome difficulties related to the management of a food truck – profitability, picking the right products, efficiency – learningeach day how to master one golden rule of the business in real-life situations.
Passers-by will have the opportunity to taste the food from the teams and assess them on the service. The team with the highest score at the end of each day wins golden keys and the team with the most golden keys and the biggest turnover will be crowned the week’s winner.

The week of the final, the challenges are ramped up and one of the six remaining teams is eliminated each day. The winner of the final will then be awarded a cash prize and the opportunity to start their own business venture.
