Description

Ashley Banjo, the Diversity troupe leader and choreographer, travels across Britain to coach the nation's unlikeliest dancers.

From the producers of hit primetime talent contest Got To Dance, comes a new and exciting breed of talent show: Secret Street Crew. Ashley Banjo, professional dancer and lead member of dance crew Diversity, believes everyone and anyone can dance. To put his theory to the test, this entertaining and formatted series sees Ashley Banjo, with the help of his street crew Diversity, take on a group of Britain’s unlikeliest dancers each week and try to transform them into street-dance superstars.

In the first heart-warming season, Ashley worked with darts players, police women, dinner ladies and more. In season 2 he returned by showing estate agents firefighters, rugby girls and a youth orchestra how to transform their lives with a groove. In season 3, Ashley works with nurses who want to have a good time at any cost and tries to transform a group of traffic wardens. In the series finale he tackles one of his biggest challenges yet – transforming a group of wheelchair basketball players into the world’s first street dance crew on wheels.

Above all Ashley wants to give our groups a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and help them surprise their unsuspecting friends and family. Learning to Street Dance is not just about mastering new steps but about gaining self-c9onfidence and for many it turns out to be a life-changing experience.
