Rival political systems compete for power
The Society Game is a new reality format that explores different political systems, communities and their leadership. Two contrasting societies, based on authoritarian rule and democracy models must win physical and mental challenges or risk destabilising their community.
Within a circular arena based on an ancient Korean Maul village, 22 people will be split into two distinct and contrasting societies: one a Democracy, the other an Authoritarian Rule. Each day the two sides will compete against each other to explore which society is more effective and which leaders rise to the top.
To keep power, the leaders must control the mood of their societies and lead them to victory in an array of challenges testing mental and physical abilities. Winning a challenge earns the victors added comforts while losing destabilizes the defeated leader who must eliminate one member from his or her society.
With an ever-changing balance of power, shocking elections, dramatic coups and evolving alliances, what makes a true leader will be constantly questioned. At a time in history when worldwide politics is centre stage, The Society Game sees only one system prevail and one leader win.
