Description

The international hit gameshow is back with a twist. Double Deal or No Deal is the ultimate test of judgement as 2 players go head to head but only one wins money. Players require the same level of luck but with the added pressure of outwitting their opponent. It all comes down to who has the best deal.

The game starts in a similar fashion as 22 contestants each possess a sealed briefcase that could hold anything from 1p to £500,000. Two players are chosen to play the game at random and are given the option to swap their box with any of the other contestants before the game begins. After playing the first 3 rounds together, one contestant is them moved to the isolation booth, while the other contestant remains in the studio.

The contestants will take it in turns to open boxes and will receive the same offers from the banker at the end of each round. The only thing they will not know, is whether their opponent has decided to deal at any point. The battle of wits is knowing when your opponent has decided to deal, because to win any amount of money in this game, you first and foremost have to beat your opponent.

Opening one wrong box can throw anyone’s game plan out of the window, so the player’s poker face is essential as they whittle down the boxes round by round until they have opened all but their own.

In a tense final, the isolated player is brought back into the studio and they reveal to one another whether or not they have dealt. If they have both decided to deal at some point, then the winner is the person who struck the highest deal. If one or both of them didn’t deal at all, then it all comes down to what was in their box.
