Description
The summer holidays are coming to an end at 'L’Escapade', a small campsite in the Landes where a team of journalists are doing a story on the departure of holidaymakers…
…until suddenly, what seems like the end of the World is upon them: earthquake tremors, rising flames on the horizon, unidentified objects falling from the sky… and the appearance of a mysterious and deadly fog that completely cuts off survivors from the rest of the world.
Trapped onsite are Michel, the karaoke-loving owner of the campsite, Natalia, his wife from Poland (via The Internet), Agathe, the super keen but undervalued gendarme, fumbling survivalist Clovis, the resourceful but weak-minded cook Sam, and Father Cohen, the local priest.
With the News team filming on, they will have to learn to survive, cohabit, but also try and make sense of their predicament: is a rescue party on its way? Are they all that’s left of Humanity? Is the fog natural or supernatural?... And what lies behind it?
As time passes, fear seeps in and the mystery thickens: uncanny spirals appear on trees, a serial killer roams, an ancient cult resurfaces, unexplained phenomena take place, without mentioning their dwindling supplies and the growing tension…
The Landes have never looked so disquieting. And so deadly.
